They had until today to provide an update on their numbers(Q1) or the insiders would not be allowed to trade the stock. Since the date passed, the trade ban is in effect. It is trading now, flat from the close. -- Reuters Canada regulator puts trade ban on Nortel insiders Monday May 17, 5:44 pm ET TORONTO, May 17 (Reuters) - Canada's top securities regulator said on Monday it slapped a trading ban on Nortel Networks Corp. (Toronto:NT.TO - News) insiders after finding the company in default of financial reporting rules. The Ontario Securities Commission warned earlier this month it would likely impose the trading ban on directors, officers and insiders of North America's largest maker of telecommunications equipment.
