I agree that this scandal will have all the legs that the Dems and the media can give it. Unfortunately for them, however, the Senate is controlled by the Republicans, so the ensuing committee investigation may take some time, over six months, say? And, as with the Nick Berg video, al Qaeda may take the opportunity to remind us just why we we were considering these measures in the first place. I do think the administration should explain why they haven't set up a 'competent tribunal' to sort out the POWs, who should get Geneva protections, from the terrorists, who don't get them, and who should be interrogated. That seems the legal weak point of the administration's case.
