Sadr's "militia" are a bunch of street punks. The only thing slowing us up is the their use of Mosques. That is actually a tactical advantage to us. We know where their HQs and supplies are likely located. They keep repeating several classic errors. They are not doing enough recon of our units. Therefore they are getting sucked into ambushes. And they do not know the strength of the units they keep picking fights with. Custer (and others) made the same mistakes. I agree with your earlier assessment that they could have a terrain advantage. But so far they are incapable of using it to significant advantage. That could all change with WMDs. Everything will change if WMD use continues.
