There are a substantial number of "Bush haters" who cannot stomach him, who will not respond to any entreaties because he is "dumb" [yeah, right], he has few impromptu speaking skills, is not too articulate, and a host of other reasons that don't make much sense. This large group wouldn't piss on Bush if he were on fire. I agree with you that there are plenty of hard-core Bush haters out there, but not as many as you think. Some of them are not haters at all and some are soft-core Bush haters having been driven there by his arrogance and lack of respect for other points of view. IMO they can be had if he would just quit being such a know-it-all and reach out.
