A couple of comments on the conference call. My feeling is that this one was more favorable than past ones. Things are going very favorable with the solar division, and ECD is considering adding another machine. Stan would not comment on my question of whether the latest patent on "coordinatively irregular structures" would be applied to our current process. In addition to the latest contracts with SIT, Thyssen, and others, they are in discussions with "5 or 6" others. Achieving the 18 mW break even on our 30 wW machine appears to be within sight. We are selling solar at an average cost of $3 a watt.

The interest in OUM is "exploding". There has been an increase in patent filings by both licensees, and presumably future licensees. Intel and others have announced that they are hitting a wall with conventional computer chips because of heat generation and scaling, and OUM nicely solves that and other constraint problems.

Even though the Matsushita negotiations have been extended to July, Bob mentioned that "maybe even before that" when asked if we will need to wait until those negotiations are finalized before Cobasys can have a battery contract.
