To all: I have a 30gb HD running Win98 SE, with 384 Ram, using Internet Explorer 6.0. About every 2 hours of operation the thing freezes up. Nothing works and I have to hard reboot. I have done all the maintenance necessary including Pitstop but it still happens. I have been thinking of installing Linux 7.0 as a operating system. Do you think that this would be a solution for a non-technical guy to attempt?
