If options expiration has no effect on stock prices, then options expiration patterns do not exist.

Then using the calendar for stock "bets" should be about the same probability as using a coin toss ..

The pattern playing out tends to support a relationship ..

edit .. we're not talking about a court case .. we're talking about making a buck or two ..
