Pravin:

What I recall is that k8/k7 revenue crossover was going to occur in q3 or q4. If one includes Opterons in the equation, it could well occur in q3 if one also includes both 130nm and 90nm k8 product. Given that k8's fetch an ASP about 3 times that of k7's, it just won't take huge acceleration from where AMD is now to achieve k8/k7 revenue crossover!

With a highly successful 90nm transition, not only will revenue crossover occur in q3, but also, k7's will be completely phased out by the end of q2 next year!

First 90nm listing on Pricewatch on August 19!

By the way, I just don't get $14 for AMD given the release of the 250's today and 850's and 150's within 30 days! Heck, with server revenues exploding and MirrorBit revenues accelerating, AMD'll probably post $100M in q2 profit! At $14, the market seems to be expecting a q2 loss!
