Our strategic oil reserves lie in Louisiana, in salt caves that max out at 700 million barrels of oil. As of today there are 660 million barrels down there. The dem's are asking for 60 million barrels to be released, lowering our PPG of gas and sending a strong message to OPEC about the $41+ per barrel they are selling at. It would work!!! But... oh noooo Scott McClellan said today.. we need to top off the 700 mil gal tank... so we could handle an attack etc. ( and keep the PPB to stay high.) What a TRANSPARENT scam we are getting from the oil cartel of the Bushies. Just disgusting. I suppose Bush expects America's attention span to remain short as in the past. He's hoping we don't pay attention to the facts.
