People are prisoners of their languages. Tell your son to leave Canada and go to any country that doesn't speak English. There's still time for him to start thinking in another language.

Your hero is Greenspan.
Mine is Carlos Ghosn.

All Brazilian are crooks.

The biggest percentage of people who get your dropped pen and call to give to you are found in Rio. I forgot my card in an ATM in a place my Rio friend told me not to walk with my attaché because it would attract attention. A guy run behind me to return it.

Know why my explanations are all long? Have examples. I always have to come back to my points to solidify them? Because the people to whom I write, have narrowband brains. That is not -absolutely- diminishing them! I have a broadband brain. It doesn't mean I am more clever than the others. I mean that people have a filter on it that is as narrow as the language they use to speak. While people look to an issue from a certain angle. I am able to turn it around 180 degrees and give it a hard look at it. That's because I have a wideband filter.

Definition of a filter: <<In telecommunications, a filter is a device that selectively sorts signals and passes through a desired range of signals while suppressing the others. This kind of filter is used to suppress noise or to separate signals into bandwidth channels.>>

Examples:
The way I look at it Islam is doomed.

The way I look at it China growth will make them hit their heads in the ceiling.

The way I look at it the US is returning to its natural size (this is what historian Paul Kennedy wrote, not me) but I am telling that, right now, what we see is the US at pains with their return to its natural size trying to keep the status quo as bald men who comb the few remaining hairs across the bald head.

The way I looked at the Iraq's pre-war situation the best outcome would have been pizza and ANY other outcome was doomed.

The way I look at it Israel is a museum-country as is Cuba North Korea.

It is really a pity that lots of brains are not built to absorb knwoledge due to the narrowband filter put into it by language.
