You have to realize that Emile's hatred of Judiasm is likely a function of his marrying a Jewish woman. Many posts speak about his cowering in the basement of his house, typing his hate-filled posts, as his wife bangs on the door, "Emile, you sniveling coward. Take out the trash."
Alas - back to the real world as he pulls up his pants and limps gimply up the stairs.
Should one indict an entire people because they are under the perceived yoke of a shrewish spouse?
Before you react, think carefully. As silly as my post is, it makes as much sense as indicting an entire people, an entire history, by the actions of a tiny few, the words of a few extremists.
Does it not make more sense to condemn Christians because of the pedophile activities of its leaders? I say no - most Christians are good people. Yet, Emile takes the words of a few commentators from thousands of years ago. I say, "if you believe this to be valid, logically, then it makes more sense to condemn Christianity for pedophilia that is so open among its leaders." Pedophilia, hyporcrisy (preaching abstinence and fondling altar boys), etc., etc. |
