I wouldn't have answered it either. I think you're entirely right that it was a loaded question, with no good answer. It was also a stupid question. The left-of-center group and media seem to be obsessed with the notion of mea culpa's and apologies. They're much like the evil stepmother who tries to coax out a child who is hiding out of reach by saying, "Come here, child, just tell me what you did and I won't hurt you," only to knock the kid for a loop once he emerges. It's the same reason they're pounding the drums for a Rumsfeld firing. Then they can say that it constitutes an admission that the Iraq war was wrongly prosecuted. Even the SI types promoting Rumsfeld's termination are framing it as though it would help Bush (and which is why they hope he won't go for it)...LOL Evil stepmothers abound.<g>
