Art, a device like this is needed.

I am not sure the format of a USB chain is best.
I would have preferred flash embedded in an ID card
or the insurance card itself. In any case it is
a step forward...

I noticed that a lot of people carry around frequent shopper ID
cards on their key chain that are bar coded. If you
could get a USB device that thin and portable it
might work as a medical record. If it doesn't fit
into a wallet or onto a key chain I think it may fail.

Pt's are also willing to wear alert bracelets and necklaces.
