Anti-Jewish rhetoric infects the West.

These kinds of pieces further damage the serious charge of anti-semitism. To charge critics of the present Israeli government or critics of the role of neo-conservatives in the present administration, to charge them with anti-semitism simply because they critique such, is sad.

There is, no doubt about it, an increasing amount of anti-semitism. And, though I haven't seen it, I gather there is more of the serious stuff in mainstream places.

But to do, as Rubin does in this article, to try to spread the term to cover serious and legitimate criticism is, to use the old canard, very counter productive.
