Apple/Power update....

New to the thread but stumbled across a site today that thought I might point the group to so they could take it for what it is worth. I wont be on the thread again as I have no interest in these two companies but thought others might enjoy the site....

"While high-level confirmation is still forthcoming, two more sources have come forth relating information that suggests a possible merger between Apple and PowerComputing, indicating that an announcement may be made to that effect by tomorrow evening (possibly as early as this evening), after the close of the stock market. This merger may not be as simple as once suggested; it could either be a total buyout of Power by Apple, or a buyout of Apple's hardware division by Power. Both possibilities have been suggested, and as neither has received reliable confirmation, neither is certain."

Rumors was waiting on confirmation from two additional sources including our now-infamous key Power contact (now conversing through PGP-signed mail) at press time. Updates will be posted to the web as information on this subject comes in.
