Joe, Did you follow Pete's link?..which is second behind P4EE 3.4 Not wanting to make the same mistake twice I did follow both links. What comes up today is different from what came up last night. Nevertheless let's use the new numbers you provide. A base score of 1566 would put Opteron in about 4th place behind several different P4 versions. A peak score of 1655 would still trail P4. A FP base of 1591 would move Opteron into 18th place behind various Itanium and Power flavors but ahead of P4. Discounting the multiple entries from different vendors with slightly different configurations but still counting the different Itanium speed offerings, Opteron's position moves up to about 5th place. That may not hold for long. We shall see. About the same goes for peak.
