you could try to figure out why its FCF is so different from reported earnings and if this is a good thing or a bad thing.


I think most analysts, as well as myself are aware of the differences. Options expensing adds a whole different dimension on it too.

I suspect the 01/02 period will be the worst bear market I will see in my lifetime. My guess is that 04 turns out to be a bear market year also. If this type of market can't bring these stocks down, what can you say?

If I had a choice of buying companies for their cash flow numbers vs. buying them for earnings, based on what I know about all the hanky panky that goes on with earnings, I would always choose cash flow.
