It's her choice to either provide or not provide information, not somebody else's. Otherwise it's a privacy violation unless it's information already in the public domain.

Given that situation, you either give her (and others') assertions credibility, or you don't. That's where you get to choose.

Okay. Though, truth to tell, it seems a stretch to censor simply for asking the question. I was not aware of her 'stance' i.e., that she refuses to divulge the name of her alleged company. Therefore I was surprised to be censored in simply asking if anyone knew if there were a company at all (Amy has me on ignore or I would have asked her directly). The SI TOU prohibits 'the transmission of material that is invasive of another's privacy.' My question did not seem to qualify though an answer to it might. This is why I referred to the current TOU policy as 'loosely' laid out.

It's kinda odd, one can run afoul of TOU simply by asking any other poster a question that might lessen their anonymity if answered yet the questioner may have no idea someone desired or needed complete anonymity in the first place.

Notwihtstanding any of the foregoing, I've already stated I won't, inadvertently or intentionally, question any further.
