re: You don't impeach the president because some private fresh out of basic messes up. Depends on the mess up. If a private accidentally pressed the button to send the nukes, you might blame the administration. In the same light, this "event" has significantly hurt the worldwide reputation of the US, might cause soldiers lives, might influence our traditional allies to not support other military efforts in the future, and will certainly color our perception throughout the ME for a generation. It's a big deal. But I never said impeach the President. Bush would be smart to scapegoat Rummy. John
