First, define you terms BOZO: "duration" of what instrument? Do you want to know what would be the maturity for the underlying instrument, or what is the national average maturity for similar instruments in a period of rising rates, or what would be the average maturity for a particular traunche that is carved out of a pool of similar ARMs when they are sold and repackaged?
