So if a Jewish-American politician carries water for Israel, or even Sharon, why can't we say that?


Just as you cannot say, certainly without evidence, that a Mexican-American official is working for the interests of Mexico directly against American interests, you cannot say that Jewish American officials are working for Israel against the interests of the United States.

That's quite different from saying that the official cares for Mexican interests, or cares for Israeli interests. And it's being said all the time now.
