Unfortunately, Nadine, your unwillingness to see the kind of harm these kinds of arguments--calling criticisms of the present Israeli government anti-semitic, calling criticisms of neoconservative approaches to US foreign policy antisemitic--that unwillingness weakens the genuinely important critique of real anti-semitism.

John, I have NEVER called criticisms of Israeli government policy or of 'neocon' policy anti-Semitic. Never, and neither did Michael Rubin. Find one quote! The fact that you cannot bring yourself even to consider the distinctions that Rubin, and other commentators, have been at pains to make speaks volumes about your unwillingness to see or consider the points of the opposition.
