UK media vs US media... Look at the emphasis here. The Guardian and NYT are both quite liberal. The Guardian seems to have collected enough independent eyewitness accounts to reach a conclusion. All of the US press is still playing neutral. Every US Gold medal in Athens will be booed out of the stadium, and the public will suddenly wonder why... guardian.co.uk nytimes.com
