Apparently, it was a terrorist compound, according to the Pentagon. Large weapons stash recovered.

Now who are you going to believe, the wild savages or the patriots defending our country?

<font color=brown>**For the past year, there have been rumors of prisoner abuse in Iraq which the Pentagon and Rumsfeld denied categorically.

**For several months before we attacked Iraq, Mr. Bush told us that Saddam had WMDs that could be used against the US.

**For over a year, we've been told that al Qaeda was on the wane.

**When the Abu Ghraib pics came out, we were told that the majority of the prisoners were hardened criminals and/or insurgents.

**Monday, I saw a video of Mr. Powell on Meet the Press where his assistant shoved the camera away [on live tv] because she wanted him to stop talking.

**On Tuesday, Mr. Bush contradicted what Mr. Powell said on Sunday.<font color=Black>

Some very strange things are happening. Some untruthful statements have been made by our leaders.Consequently, maybe you will understand when I say that I plan to withhold judgement on this one until I have more info. Lately, I am never quite sure what the truth is when it comes to statements from our gov't.
