Del re: Co-ir, Tremco, SIT & Lockheed:

Right Del, I think your 'irregular' question dazed Stan(hey the darn patent app was written back in 2001!) but Guha quickly set things straight when he said it was a "concept patent" that allows for adjustable band gaps. I'm keeping my thought that this patent plants our flag on the frontiers of IP for future application and will keep a watch out with my futurescope.

Meanwhile, looks like SIT's strategic
roofing partner, Tremco, based in Ohio, has launched a flexible PV membrane roofing product called POWERbright. edcmag.com

With SIT promising to buy more than 5MW this calendar year and already having a 13MW/year capacity (their presentation in February) and now capitalized to add a new module assembly in Germany with $74M backlog in orders (my guess this is equivalent to 7-9MW depending on particulars of roof and local labor costs) and none of their delivery shipped in last quarter and little sold to them last year(my guess 500kW out of our their $8M revs based on "2 Fritos & a Coke",plus 5-6 other buyers unannounced in the wings; I think we can look forward to 20MW in terrestrial PV sales this year. And then there's China. PV industry is growing but Unisolar is growing faster and following Stempel's repeat of 3MW sales in 3rdQ I loved hearing Guha add that the 'runrate has to go up.'

We also should know sometime after June if the Lockheed airship prototype is go or no-go and I'm betting green.

Best regards,

Al
