I however do not claim to have such knowledge but I do believe that this is a kind of custom that's pretty common in that neck of the woods....why so? who knows! If we look upon it as something weird I guess that Arabs could look at the American ritual of taking the groom to strip bars before the wedding as being somewhat "weird" also. C'est la vie. What's amazing to me though is to see the reaction to this tragedy. Whether it was indeed a cover or an actual wedding it doesn't matter to certain folks here.....it will be rationalized either way. Now that's a scary thing about the "American mind". MON.
