Explain: Vivus probably sent the memo to the drugstores to dispense one
at a time to help patient finances;( at least Vivus says so.And yes Frosty
that is a good and humane idea.
But, but, THIS IS AMERICA GUYS!!!!! WAKE UP!!!
Pharmacists are in in this to make a buck.THEY WILL SELL A HUNDRED VIVUS
DOSES ( even if you only used one and threw the rest out ) AS LONG AS
MOST PEOPLE DON'T COMPLAIN, and my guess is most don't!!!!So there it
is .I believe, that pharmacists believe, that they are not a health
Banc to bail out patient's finances.A lot of pharmacists are getting squeezed
left and right as it is from Managed Care etc.
So,so, they will sell AS MUCH VIVUS AS THE MARKET WILL BEAR, AT THE HIGHEST
MARK UP AS POSSIBLE.
This is Business 101, plain and simple.
[ This by the way explains why Soros and Vinick got in it: two good
old business sniffing dogs:they immediately siffed a good deal!!
Kudos to them!! Lets all in this thread raise a glass of good cheer for
our two new ?friends?.
(PS I really feel sorry for the patients though and support any ideas
that would help their financing of their Vivus doses,all kidding aside ). |
