HI Cary,

With the cost of 300 mm lines, and the yields derived,the number of participants that can "fully use" 300 mm is substantially reduced:Intel,TI,Samsung,Micron,Hynex?,Siemens.The rest are then forced to take their position in line the the big 2 fabs.

It may be that the cost of capital (and the required new high cost of fabs) is forcing an orderly rational discipline regarding investment capital allocation.
