Brian, One of the advantages of being a long term investor is that you can concern yourself with long term issues and ignore day to day behavior. We have just been through an extended period which very legitimately questions whether there is any collective wisdom in the market. If stock prices are fundamentally valued by discounting future cash flow and market wisdom can see only one quarter into the future, you will need to wait until the future becomes obvious.
