I see. The Geneva Convention messes up your faulty world view, so you mock it too. The Geneva Convention IS the standard. Like most reasonable people, the Geneva Convention recognized that spies & saboteurs in civilian dress are a uniquely horrific menace that needed to be dealt with harshly by an otherwise civil society. Dressing as civilians, mixing in with the general population, using them as human shields & fighting a uniformed military under those conditions places the proper military & innocent civilians at severe risk. Even you can grasp the concept. It's because in this instance, it takes away another opportunity to unfairly attack the Bush Admin, so you reject the concept rather than accept reality. How typical of you.
