Brian, buying is not usually the problem, it is knowing when to sell so that you don't wind up in a long term losing position..... I speak from painful experience. Hopefully, I've learned my lesson. Buying in Jan 2000 was a great move, but selling in March 2000 was a greater move.... The direction of the tide turned, I didn't! My fund positions were killed....
