VIDYA is an Exponential moving average that is varied by a volatility measure. you are attempting to use cmo. you must estblish a reference value to maintain the proper range of CMO. Equis failed to do this properly causing the VAR MA (read that as VIDYA) to give minus results with some periods and destroying it as a fully useful MA. This occurred in 6.0, the earlier 5.11 had sucessfuly used VHF for its measure.

I don't know what you have here. A exponential moving avg requires self referencing which WOW can't do in a custom formula and metastock with its prev function allows only in a fashion. You might read the new technical trader by Chande to find out about his indicators and why they are some of the most important ones in TA.

An attempt as many have done. But none have suceeded in WOW to date. It is a case of you can't get there from here. I sure you won't take my word for it. And Who knows, you might stumble on a useful indicator out of all this.

BTW: the bands are 2 * the volatity term * the alpha of the EMA added or subtracted from VIDYA
