I agree. Poor guy was always in pain and always joking.

One time he was fishing from the rear seat on the 6'x6' rear deck of my boat. I hear him yelling and saw he was upside down in the driver's seat under the steering wheel. I figured he had crawled in there and was staging one of his pranks which he often did. He kept howling so I pulled him out and darned if he hadn't fallen out of the chair, across 3' of deck and ended face up, head down under the steering wheel and broke 3 ribs in the process.

I had two fishing rods, both the same, I didn't need and mentioned them to Mike's brother, Bill. Bill bought them both and sold one to Mike. Now the pole Bill kept became his favorite pole and he lost it two weeks ago in Wisconsin. The guys said he was in the coffee shop before going to the hospital and was asked if they really needed to pull the plug he said "no, but I need another one of those blue fishing poles". He wasn't up to coming to the shop this afternoon.
