Correct me please, but wouldn't the FUTURE be with MARCAM SOLUTIONS, with their brand new Windows/NT "PROTEAN" product, rather than with MAPICS and their older IBM AS/400 "MAPICS" product? It seems to me there will be a slow decline for Mapics and a gradual move up for Protean as Windows/NT takes over the world, but maybe I'm missing something. If I was setting up an IRA for my daughter, I'd sure have to lean towards MARCAM SOLUTIONS. ==> Please compare the two from your viewpoint. Very intriguing to me!
