"I don't think we are bullies, but that this is increasingly becoming the perception." This is where I get attacked on the Bush thread. We have earned it. With the super power we have, we must also carry ourselves with absolute humility. Our power and wealth is God given and nothing to be egotisticle about. We are in danger here of destroying ourselves. I believe that, sometimes wealthy nations are divinely allowed to become abusive so that when they collapse in their greed and corruption there will be no excuses for what became of them on judgement day. The American ego is out of control. Read some of CYBERKEN's posts to get the flip side of sylvester. Even if we were perfect, we would have to deal with the covetousness and jealousies from nations that weren't doing as well. But we are far from perfect, so we are dealing with both vengefulness from third worlders who have been oppressed by Western profiteering and covetousness by wannabees. Its a tough course. In spite of all that we must try to stand up for liberty and justice in every sphere of influence available to us...because that is the best we can be.
