HI Sam,

Sold Orcl puts for 1.60(in Novemeber 03) - exercise price @ 12.50. Got the stock put to me end of March.Net cost about 11.00.Trading 11.17 - 12.50 over the last 60 days.

So the time value of money/time gave me a cushion of a relatively safe acquisition cost vs daily price swings.

10% stop loss would keep me in stock till 9.90 - pretty safe purchase - I think.GG

Money in bank, no debt, billions in cash, real company, real earnings all thru the dot.bomb collapse-greta liquidity.

It is my biggest laggard - but in an emergency - I've got liquidity-with a low risk of huge loss. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Just my sick way of hedging.

BWDIK
