I think we are all getting a real world lesson of the application of the old saying, "the good is the enemy of the best". Hold our side up to a standard of near-perfect, and if anyone blows it, then our side gets pummeled while their side is held up to a standard of...why, no standard at all! Hm, where have I seen this tactic before?
