We wouldn't have Sharon tell Bush one thing while he tells his people something else

Phony equivalence. Show me where Sharon said one thing to Bush and another to the Israelis.

Well, with Arafat, you can find something every time he talks. Just this week he quoted from the Koran and told the Palestinians they should "terrorize their enemies" while telling any Western reporter who would talk to him how super keen he was to talk peace. That's how it's been for over 10 years. Peace in English, Jihad in Arabic.

As for leaving, don't worry, Sharon's term is up next year and he will go, if not sooner. Arafat's term was up in 1999. He didn't go and won't, except feet first.
