Thanks so much for the link.. It is so great as I believe the troubadours throughout the ages have told us so much in an understandable way... They are among the original thinkers that tell it like it is..
During the Vietnam and after era when so much social change was starting to emerge., I believe, no I know, the hip musicians told us the story of what was really happening out there in a way people understood . So the musicians were very instrumental <g> in our social progress...
And that brings up a point, why the "other side" even likes OUR music, whether it is U2, the Dead, the Eagles, etc. whoever are those that sought social change through their lyrics.. I can not understand liking a musician, writer, etc, when WHAT they say is CONTRARY to my beliefs, my value system.. BTW, I don't like their polyester stuff..<g>.
People like Ann Coulter, who supposedly like the Dead, That's Bull Sh!t, IMO.. She just wants to appear hip NOW.. Haha.. Like so many HERE NOW.. PHONIES NOW and FOREVER..
