Low volume, with no new lows would be a good sign for me.
I just don't know how to interpret the pattern of strong price rise early, then all turning to crap at 3 pm. I think it means a lot of program trading, and speculation rather than investment. So if the only sellers are the day-trade crowd, we should see price stability from week to week.
Remember last year, we had an early start to "sell in May, then go away". So now also some are selling, hoping that more will follow. But it doesn't look like the herd is really following. There are no buyers, but no sellers either. So, as the saying goes, patients, my dear.
