unbearable! our little village is transformed into tourist hell :-) 200,000 tourists in a place with population 30,000, heh
ouch... yes, I figured that much; one has to be an F-1 maniac to truly enjoy the madness surrounding a GP...
I haven't yet seen any of the GP, but probably will this weekend. No pictures yet, that is.
Here are some pictures of the Spanish GP... try at least the Alonso start... what a rocket!

Richards Hails Davidson as 'Star of the Day'
Thursday May 20th, 2004
BAR boss David Richards hailed team test driver Anthony Davidson on Thursday after the Briton lapped second fastest in practice on his Monaco Grand Prix debut.
"Anthony Davidson, on only his first visit to Monaco, was clearly the star of the day," he said.
Although Davidson will not race on Sunday, allowed to practice only before handing over to the race regulars Briton Jenson Button and Japan's Takuma Sato, his time of 1:15.141 was impressive.
Ferrari's Michael Schumacher, a five times winner of the glamour race as well as a six times World Champion, was just 0.4 of a second quicker.
"It's a fairly tough circuit generally and quite daunting for the first few laps -- but I was really looking forward to getting out there," said Davidson, 25.
"It's one of those circuits that really moves you as a driver and perhaps more than any other circuit I would really love to be driving here for the rest of the weekend."
Davidson's efforts did not go unnoticed by other teams: "There's no doubt about it, he's a very fine driver," said Williams technical director Patrick Head, whose team has at least one vacancy for next year.

After my Porsche little adventure,,, I am fired up, btw...
I found what the problem was with my brakes... (well at least I know what the problem was, now I need to fix it..) -too much bias to the rear brakes... Porsche got my message and my pictures and they are figuring out what to do and how to fix it...
2 years ago they replaced (at no cost) my front brake pads as they crystallized and were pulverizing... I have a feeling they fooled around with the bias and sent more braking to the rear....
Of course there would be no way of finding out until I put it to the test in Lewistown.... -g
Sunday, in spite of the brake problem... I smoked the GT3 and Turbo... Gary was with me and I let him take the GT2 for a ride and he spun it in the first corner... LOL ! |
