Addi, I am well-aware of all of the points that you make - this is certainly not new to me. I have followed Java from the beginning (OK, not the BEGINNING - e.g. not the light-switch days...) use it, and have programmed in it.

The concept is not new. We have seen it before. It was called Pascal. And Forth. And Ada. And Modula. Where are those languages today?

It remains that you are only speculating on what MAY happen in the future. Again and again, you confuse what MAY happen with what IS and what WILL happen (which nobody knows).

I do beleive that much of what you describe may come to pass. But I think it is going to take much, much longer than you think it will - 5 to 10 years, just like every new language that has come before it.
