"It is about the specious logic that says it is unAmerican to criticize the president during times of conflict." Who on the right has ever said anything that remotely resembles what you allege? I'd like to know who made such comments, precisely what they said & in what context it was given. Got links? Objective, even well meaning, but misplaced criticism is perfectly acceptable to President Bush, his Administration & a majority of conservatives. False statements, disgusting, demeaning & treacherous commentary, purely for political gain are not considered acceptable forms of critism to most Americans. When a leading politician makes false, misleading & treacherous remarks publicly, they open themselves to be called on for their obvious lies & acts of treachery. And even if you agree with what they said, it does not change the true nature of these vulgar, self serving acts. Pelosi is one of a number of political pigs who care more about partisan politics than they do about America, national security & our troops that are in harms way.
