What it can do is create an atmosphere where the terrorists come to us in Iraq. Rather than face them here on their terms we face them there on our terms.

That's absurd. The terrorists don't play by our rules. Also, an invasion of a ME country can create lots of terrorists and while some may battle the US troops in Iraq, nothing prevents the others from attacking the US elsewhere.
