The problem the left has with recognizing this harsh reality is that it completely removes their assertions of Bush not gaining "legitimacy" with the (corrupt) UN & with leading (even more corrupt) European nations like France, Germany & (completely corrupt) UN voting nations like Russia & China. Recognizing any of the aspects of the Oil- for-Food scandal simply makes Bush's reasons for war credible & their bogus claims painfully obvious. Don't expect them to ever admit to their real, horrific mistakes.
