I basically said that a democratic vote does not determine if an accusation is true or false. Are you maintaining that it does?!?

It did? Last time I checked there are only two communist states....Vietnam and Laos.....and Laos was a communist state back then. A "mild" version of the domino theory certainly would have included Cambodia, Thailand and Burma......at least.

The Pathet Lao did not win their war and seize control until 1975. Cambodia also became communist after the Vietnam war ended. First it was under the rule of the extraordinary brutal Khymer Rouge (again starting in 1975) and later it was under Vietnamese occupation, (which despite the fact that it was an occupation by an aggressive communist power, was not as bad as the rule of the Khymer Rouge). Thailand didn't go communist but it did face a communist insurgency.
