I'm amazed how much folks here in the US can ignore culture.

I don't mean that as a slam on you .. it's simply an observation.

There are things that are "supposed" to be important here in our culture. Tons of politicaly correct stuff that can get large segments on our population upset. The value of a human life, for example. In our culture we may rank a 9 on a 1-10 basis. Middle East culture may place that at 7 on the same scale.

Religious rules to us may hit 4 or 5 here. There 9 or so .. maybe higher.

At the beheading, the al quida dude said that payments for our sins must be with blood.

There exists, within this world, different cultures that have different values on various topics. I think there is a high probability that ours just might have a flaw or two.

One of the biggest flaws our culture has, is to expect everyone to accept it as their own. How would you feel if you were being expected to memorize Quaran passages and aquire basic camell usage skills<g>. I'd be offended.

all actions against Alla .. to you maybe a 2 or 3 .. to them a 9 or 10

We might just as well start a campaine to turn all mosques into parking lots ..
