Excellent posts. It's no wonder that the Bill's and the Sig's of this thread of resorting to pathetic one-liner putdowns. They've learned from their idols...when you have no defense, try to destroy the messenger.

I also think that as the writing on the wall in Iraq becomes clearer, the true believers are becoming more desperate. At this point, I suspect that their holding onto their positions is more about pride and embarrassment than anything else...
