You confuse "journalists" with media personalities. Those who pose as "journalists," -- like NYT, Washington Postal, LaLa Times, AP writers, and others whose pieces are presented so as to appear as hard news -- are believed by most people to be fact gatherers and reporters, while in reality they increasingly are nothing more than propagandists who cover only the stories and present only the facts that support theirs and their editors' biased views.

Hanity, Limbaugh, Coulter, and those others who you refer to don't masquerade as objective reporters. They let their predispositions be known.
