Why? It seems all Kerry has to do is let Bush destroy himself as results of his own policies come back to bring him down. He doesn't even need to spend any money, just let Bush spend all of his trying to buy some traction. Bush is the weakest incumbent I've seen since Jimmy Carter.
Even some of the more sensible Republicans are starting to edge away from the loser. Next time you see the monkey on TV, look closely at his eyes - you'll see fear there. Fear of following Poppy into the dustbin of failed Presidencies. For someone with the "daddy" issues Bush has, that's got to be the abyss.
